东部战区位台岛北部、南部及以东海域开展多科目演练

PLA   Eastern Theater Command   Conducts Drills in Waters to the North, South and East of Taiwan Island

4 月 1 日，中国人民解放军东部战区组织舰艇、战机编队，协同常导、远箱火等，位台岛北部、南部及以东海域，开展空中截击、对海突击、对陆打击、联合封控等科目演练，检验部队协同作战、夺控制权、多向精打能力。

On April 1, the PLA   Eastern Theater Command   organized its vessel and aircraft formations, in coordination   with conventional missile   troops   and long-range rocket launching systems,   to conduct drills   of   air interception, assault   on   maritime   targets, strikes on   ground   objects, and joint blockade   and control, in waters to the north, south, and east of Taiwan Island. These drills   are aimed at testing   the troops ’   capabilities of carrying out integrated operations, seizure of operational control, and multi-directional precision   strikes.
